My cousin’s bungalow
My cousin bought a small bungalow on the edge of town. He was immensely proud of his own piece of real estate. He invested a lot of time and money into the building and the yard. He even engaged the services of the local Real Estate Lawyers in Toronto to make sure of exactly what he was allowed to do. For many years my cousin’s bungalow was the smartest house on his street. As the town grew and spread the character of the area in which he lived changed. It became progressively more up market. Twenty years later what once had been a smart little house on the edge of town now became a small unsightly structure in the middle of a fancy suburb. Fortunately that never bothered my cousin.
