In a study commissioned by a mystery shopping agency in 2007 among consumers in UK, New Zealand and Australia, it showed that customers are more satisfied with the service experience by 12%. Evidently, the perceptions of the customers about the service are somehow influenced by having your employees wear a badge. This implicates the need for customized name badges more so because the employees and thus the company appear more accountable for what they do. It only shows that the company is not hiding behind anonymity that it can provide a distinct service among the customers.
