Irritant Contact Dermatitis
Contact dermatitis happens when a substances touches your skin and causes an eczema reaction. Irritants that cause contact dermatitis are all around you. Some irritants are the chemicals found in common household items like detergents and varnishes. Some irritants may be chemicals you are exposed to at work. Even excess heat and sweating may irritate your skin and cause eczema.
