I have a flair for the unusual, so when it came to outside decorations, I just didn’t want anything to do with them.  I thought they were boring and plain, and why would I want a slab to set my furniture on?  I was better off with grass until decorative concrete patio blocks came onto the scene.  I like to think of myself as an artist, although I really am not very handy.  However, I decided to try my hand at doing it myself.  The one thing that this project has taught me is that art can exist anywhere and be made of anything.
