My grandmother had a beautiful set of sterling steel flatware that she left me when she passed away.  She always told me that it brought her good luck and wanted me to have the complete set.  It was in a beautiful cherry wood case and was a setting for eight.  I told my daughter that I will be keeping it nice for her one day.  I was very close to my grandmother and I know this meant a lot to her because my grandfather gave it to her when they got married.  She has kept all the pieces polished and never lost any of them.
