My girlfriend had decided to purchase a pool but did not purchase any pool safety covers.  She has 2 small children ages five and six.  I tried to tell her how important this cover was, but she didn’t listen.  It wasn’t to long that her five year old was playing in the yard and decided to get in the pool.  Luckily her husband was in the yard to prevent a tragedy.  We learn from experience.  They immediately went out and bought the cover.  They invested in what’s called a net cover which will prevent children from falling through.  Because, her husband is not at home during the day it’s easy for her to remove the cover herself.
