After I graduated from college reality hit me — I was in serious debt.  I knew that I was accumulating a fair amount of bills but I kept telling myself that it was all for a good cause — a college education.  I decided that before I got completely over my head I had to do something about it.  I had heard of money for gold from my roommate and I had some ugly but valuable gold jewelry that I knew I could sell.  What a great solution!  I paid off one of my credit cards and I set aside the rest for a rainy day.  Now all I need is a good job!
