There are many things that are changing because of the financial challenges facing the entire world.  Some careers are going away, probably never to return.  Just because of the advancement in technology many jobs are being swallowed up by the new abilities and possibilities.  With lpn careers there is literally no possibility of the need for nurses disappearing.  People will always need other people to take care of them when they are ill or in need of critical care.  It is a negative situation with a positive result.  No one wishes other people would have accidents or become ill, but they do.  There will always be a need for caregivers.
