It’s not that I completely enjoyed being separated from my computer, but I do have to say that I kind of relished the fact that I couldn’t be working 24 hours a day because I couldn’t be in front of my computer for that long. So that was basically the only free time I had — and now that my boss went ahead and installed remote PC software for the entire office, no one has any downtime anymore. I know that’s good for him and for the bottom line of the company, but it’s probably not too great for my mental health.
