My wife is very good at saving money.  When she wants something, she’ll save every penny until she has saved up enough money to pay the entire balance all at once.  She’s done this with both of our bikes, our new television, and even our vacations.  She’s been doing our finances since we got married, and she’s always used this budget software that she got when we were still in college.  You definitely won’t here me complain.  If I was in control of our finances, we’d have a lot more crap laying around the house, and less vacation time.  It’s good that she’s in control.
